The four different trails at the Phoenix Zoo are all very interesting. The Africa Trail is a great place to see animals you might not find in your backyard, like lions and monkeys, while enjoying gorgeous views of Tanzania’s mountains as well! If what you love most about zoos is seeing exotic birds, then Tropics Trails will be for you since it has its own lake where visitors can feed flamingos to their heart’s content. The Arizona trail takes everyone through deserts and mountain ranges that mimic those found throughout our state, so it really feels like an authentic experience with wildlife from North America. Finally, Children’s Trail offers something just for kids ages 3-12 who have moving animatronics displays featuring more than 100 species, including elephants riding bikes or playing soccer on stage.

One of the best parts about visiting the Phoenix zoo which is a part of Phoenix is getting to see all kinds of animals up close. For example, the Monkey Village will have you snapping pictures as your kids walk through an open exhibit with monkeys swinging by and completely captivating them for hours!

The Phoenix Zoo has something for everyone. Kids can enjoy the Red Barn petting zoo with its goats, sheep, and horses that are ready to play in their presence, while parents also have a chance to see an animal on display like giraffes or camels. The Stingray Bay is another popular exhibit where visitors get up close with these aquatic animals as they swim by before diving below into deep water again.

When you’re sick of looking at animals, the zoo’s 4D theater will give you a new perspective. With water and wind effects like those found in amusement parks combined with high-definition screens, this is an immersive experience that makes it feel like there are sharks instead of just fish swimming by! Afterward, try one ride on the Endangered Animals carousel to get your heart rate going again before exploring more exhibits.

Phoenix Zoo conservation scientists are experts in raising and breeding species to be released into the wild.
